Made it to Abilene today from Natchez, MS. It was a long ride, over 550 miles, but it's good to have it all behind me as it will give me more time in Lubbock.

Lots of freeway time today, not many pictures, but after wasting lots of time in Jena, LA, looking for a level parking space for lunch and finally giving up, I had to take this picture in the middle of nowhere, TX. (Click on the picture to see it full size.)














1st Caption: After driving 2500 miles, I FINALLY found a parking place.

As I was getting ready to leave, a trucker walked out of the convenience store, looked at my bike and said, "Nice rig."
